Look at those wet roads in the back ground of this picture. I thought Halloween was going to be a bust this year. It rained and boy, it was WINDY! But, at about 6:30, it let up and it was actually pretty pleasant. Think of how many little people were saying prayers to help the weather improve!

| Everyone in their cute costumes: McKay as the Sorcerer's Apprentice (think: Mickey Mouse on Fantasia--complete with $35 hat directly from Disneyland that he bought with his own money-- mind you), Connor as an Astronaut, and Makenna as, of course, a princess-- Sleeping Beauty. |
| Here are the twins getting ready to go trick-or-treating-- and even better: Brett is home and gets to come with us! |
| Earlier in the day we had a visit from the cutest baby, Brielle. She's my cousin's first baby. Look at all that HAIR!! Kenna was in heaven! |
Brett's mom planned a super fun family party for all of us. She sent us on a picture scavenger hunt. We had to find all these things and then take a picture to 'prove' we had found it.
| In this picture we had to find a FRANKENSEIN. |
| This one we had to find a pretend spider and be 'scared' of it. We found one on a blanket. |
| For this 'find' we had to have someone in a mask holding a scary DVD. |
| This picture proves we took our picture with someone in a costume. |
| In this picture we had to find a skeleton and put our arms around him. This one took a lot of coaxing for Makenna to do. Can you see the trepidation in her eyes? |
| This picture has a funny story. We had to take a picture with caramel apples. We couldn't find actual caramel apples, but we did fine caramel and apples, separately. So we had the kids hold apples with individually wrapped caramel. That was our last picture and it was a race to the finish! We got all the way out of Walmart and almost to our car. Connor noticed that Makenna still had an apple in her hand! She had to run back in and put it back. She was so worried that she had almost 'stolen' something. |
| Our last picture had to be at a real gravestone in a real cemetery. This was a little creepy, but the kids had fun with it. |
Mom, thank you for such a fun night! We had a great night! I've not been a fan of Halloween, but with kids, it's all so much fun.
