For Valentine's Day we give the kids a special gift to show our love and appreciation for them. This year it was a Pillow Pet for the twins, and a watch for Connor. They were thrilled.
So, every year we have a tradition of making "Love Bugs" for Valentine's Day. These are creature creations made out of terribly un-healthy junk food, but it's only once a year, right?
This year the ingredients consisted of: - Reese's Peaunt Butter Hearts
- Oreo's
- Pink Frosting
- Jumbo Marshmallows
- Valentine's Heart Cakes (those Little Debbie kind)
- Kit Kats
- Mint lifesavers
- Whoppers
- Nerds
Quite the variety, huh? I love to see what everyone will come up with. The kids are so creative. Brett always impresses with his creativity, too. |

After everyone is done creating, we EAT it! Yes, we eat our creations!! The eating usually takes a few days as we pick off the sweets and then you just get so sick of it, we usually end up throwing the rest away!
